About Amaya

Design with purpose. Outside.

Amaya Design Studio exists to give homeowners a clearer, more personal path from “we should do something with the yard” to a complete vision they are excited to build.

Experience translated into a better homeowner journey.

I’m German, the designer behind Amaya. My work is grounded in residential landscape experience, practical construction awareness and a belief that the best yards begin with listening.

After designing outdoor spaces across a wide range of homes, styles and budgets, I created Amaya to make professional landscape design more accessible—without losing the thought, detail or visual confidence of a high-touch studio process.

I care about the parts that are easy to overlook: how the patio meets the door, where people naturally walk, what the yard looks like from inside, how planting softens architecture and whether each element earns its place.

Let’s talk about your space
What guides the work

Beautiful is only the beginning.

Function first

Every line should make the space easier, more comfortable or more enjoyable to use.

Clarity always

You should understand what is being proposed, why it works and how to move it forward.

Personal, not generic

Your priorities, taste, property and lifestyle create the design—not a recycled formula.

Why the name Amaya?

A studio built around what lasts.

Amaya represents warmth, intention and spaces that feel rooted. It fits the kind of work I want to create: contemporary but not cold, elevated but still livable, and designed to become part of a family’s everyday story.

The result should not chase a trend. It should feel considered now and continue to feel right as the landscape grows in.
